Download Firefox – Help set a world record!

Ok – this post has absolutely nothing to do with Yardley… but it’s something I think you’ll be interested in.

Firefox is a web browser. It’s completely free and in my opinion works much better than the one created by the company my brother works for :-P .

Anyway, the folks at Mozilla who develop the Firefox browser are going to release the 3rd and latest version of their browser today and are going to try to set a world record.

Check it out… you won’t be disappointed.

Here’s some information from the Mozilla page:

Download Day

Set a Guinness World Record
Enjoy a Better Web

Sounds like a good deal, right? All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours – it’s that easy. We’re not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome.

The official date for the launch of Firefox 3 is June 17, 2008. Join our community and this effort by pledging today.
