219 Fly-Fishing on the Delaware - Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

This is a fly-fisherman on the Delaware river just near the Yardley Inn. This shot reminds me of my brother Mark who fly-fishes frequently. I love the effort and artisan quality fly fisherman put into the sport. They study the local breeds of insects and painstakingly craft facsimiles using feathers and fur and thread of all types. I never had the patience but I’ve always admired the craft.
