A fellow member of my running club sent me a note and I think it’s worth passing on. Anne Mahlum is a local runner and is being featured on CNN’s top 10 Heroes. She used to run by homeless men each morning. Today, she’s running with them, and others, as part of her ‘Back On My Feet’ program in Philly.

Back On My Feet is great! I am familiar with them through another nonprofit, Committee of 70. I was able to meet some of the participants last year and read some of their stories. They are an inspiring group. Best of luck to Anne–she has done an amazing job inspiring others to make a change in their lives. She has really given some thing positive back to the community and to each individual involved.
