FLOOD WARNING
This message is from the Lower Makefield Township Emergency Management Agency
As of 2:47 this afternoon, the National Weather Service predicts that the Delaware River will rise above flood levels of 20 feet on Thursday September 8th, this is similar to the levels of last week. Residents living in flood prone areas are advised to take precautions. It is anticipated that roadways will be impassable due to rising water. Monitor your local news and the Township Web site.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm warning for our area, bringing heavy rain and sustained high winds. Residents are advised to make preparations such as securing lawn furniture and trash cans.
Please do not drive on flooded roads and be aware of low hanging or fallen trees, limbs and wires.
