Remembering September 11th, 2001
Next month will mark the tenth anniversary of September 11th, 2001. In honor of this and in honor of those who lost their lives on that fateful day I took a trip to the 911 Garden of Reflection and captured some images.

Patterson Farm in Early August
One of my favorite subjects in early August: Patterson Farm and its corn fields. I recently came across thisPatterson Farm Preservationweb site and found its contents to be quite amazing. I’d encourage you to visit the site if you’re interested in the history of Yardley. The site hosts pictures of Tom and Alice Patterson as well as pictures of the property from various decades.
Here are just some of the photos from that site. I highly recommend visiting Patterson Farm Preservation.com.

Highways of History: Lakeside Home
This sign marks a point on the Highways of History trail just in front of Lakeside Manor. The yellow home in the background was erected in 1728 and was a part of the original Yardley Mill built by William Yardley. More information about this home can be found on the LivingPlaces.com web site.

Morning Glories Among the Corn
Although these flowers look quite beautiful, they can be quite invasive. They perk up in the early morning sun and after a few hours begin to whither and curl up. This shot was taken just off the corn fields on Patterson Farm on Mirror Lake Road.
