This ash can stands guard in front of the Yardley Makefield Fire Company. There’s something endearing about this weathered ash can. I’m not sure if it’s irony – fire, ashes, etc… or whether its the toughness that the pitted, scratched exterior portrays. Like the brave folks that volunteer for the company, this can looks to be ready for anything anybody throws at it.
